The Great Guide Dog Online Auction
The Great Guide Dog Online Auction from February 22nd – March 17th will be one of the biggest online charity auctions ever held in this country and we’d love you to be part of it. In fact, without support from businesses like yours we won’t be able to make it the success it deserves to be.
The Great Guide Dog Online Auction is a huge fundraising collaboration between the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind’s (RNZFB’s) Guide Dog Services, and real estate agency Bayleys.
The goal is to have 2000 sensational items on offer to the New Zealand public through the online auction site sella.co.nz from February 22. The aim is to raise more than $500,000, which will go to training many valuable guide dogs for blind and partially sighted New Zealanders.
As principal sponsor of the RNZFB’s Guide Dog Services since 2004, Bayleys has put its nationwide network of sales consultants and support personnel to work to ensure the success of the auction. The fact you’re reading this means the plan is working. Now we need your help to get more guide dogs working.
The success of The Great Guide Dog Online Auction hinges completely on the quality of the items that are listed. Our four legged friends can’t speak up, so on their behalf we are appealing to your generous nature and are asking your company to contribute an item, service or product for inclusion in the auction.
Every quality item we can add to the auction list will help ensure the success of this exciting fundraising phenomenon.

Well he and his mates will be out getting attention in the national press, on the internet and radio. They’ll possibly even be hitting the streets to drum up interest. This is your opportunity to hitch your wagon and come along for the ride.
So what do you have to do?
The short answer is give us some goodies to add to the auction. Bayleys is here to make it as easy as possible for you. Simply let us know what you or your company can contribute. We will be happy to collect the item or products, and help compose any description you’d like included on the auction text.
The auction reference can acknowledge the generous support of your company, and Bayleys will supply you with a poster to promote the auction in store, and highlight the fact that you are one of the businesses making this event possible. Naturally, you’ll also be able – and in fact will be encouraged - to bid on the other items that will be featured online on sella.co.nz from 22 February, 2011.
